After a short time of operation, Quickclear typically shuts off. Includes heated windshield washer jets.

AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®)
This electronic stability system provides enhanced control in slick conditions such as snow, rain or even on gravel roads. RSC provides enhanced side-slip control and electronic rollover stability for the vehicle. It utilizes gyroscopic sensors to monitor vehicle roll motion and rate of turning in milliseconds. This helps determine when and how RSC will utilize the brakes to help keep all four wheels of the vehicle firmly planted.39
39. Remember that even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It's always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.
Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS)
EPAS uses an electric motor instead of a hydraulic pump. This results in control that can be precisely programmed to enable technologies that help steering control, such as pull-drift compensation and active nibble control. EPAS contributes to fuel efficiency because the electric motor operates only when steering assistance is required. This is a more efficient way of managing energy than traditional hydraulic systems, which run continuously.
Six-Speed SelectShift® Automatic Transmission
The six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission in the Transit Connect is engineered to handle everyday commercial use and to handle the low-end torque needed for hauling heavy loads.
Torque Vectoring Control and Curve Control
To help hold the road better while you’re accelerating through a corner, Torque Vectoring Control adjusts the speed between the front wheels to enhance cornering agility and reduce understeer. It uses the braking system to imitate the effect of a limited-slip differential. In particular, when you’re accelerating through corners, it applies braking to the front inside wheel, so more of the engine torque goes to the outside wheel, which has more grip.
Curve Control can sense when a vehicle is entering a turn too fast and can apply four-wheel braking to reduce a vehicle’s speed and help you safely navigate a curve. Curve Control is an enhancement to AdvanceTrac.®
